• NWL Learner, Jill Beverlin, was recently honored (Oct. 2011) at the Wisconsin Literacy Outstanding Adult Learner of the Year.
   
• NWL Tutor, Peg Frey was awarded Wisconsin Literacy Tutor of the Year in 2010.  Peg died shortly after receiving her award.
   
• NWL partnered with Bont Chiropractic in the summer of 2011 for a 5K run in St. Croix Falls, WI
   
• NWL has partnered with the Family Resource Center of the St. Croix Valley to offer a literacy based playgroup for parents of children ages 0-4.
   
• NWL has partnered with Osceola Medical Center and St. Croix Regional Medical Center to offer literacy backpacks to new families.
   
• NWL has partnered with Workforce Resource and the Polk County Job Center to provide assistance to Polaris Employees
