PROGRAMS

Our trained volunteers provide individualized tutoring for adults and families.  Volunteers are available to meet regularly at a public location with learners of various backgrounds.  These services are available at no cost.  Please contact us for assistance.

Specific Programs provided:

Adult Literacy
 

• Adult Basic Education (ABE)
  - reading, writing, speaking, math, financial, health
• Pre-General Education Development (GED)
  - reading, writing, and math tutoring for GED preparation
• English Language Learning (ELL)
  - pronunciation, grammar, comprehension and vocabulary skills for immigrants and new citizens
• Workplace Literacy Tutoring
  -tutoring for employees to improve their job skills and retain their job

Family Literacy

• reading, writing, spelling, math tutoring for children
• reading buddies for elementary students
